Costs and Service

Everything essential is covered: the private yacht, professional crew (Captain & Chef), all gourmet meals and snacks, a standard ship’s bar (beer, wine, liquor), fuel, and the use of all water toys. Crew gratuity is not included.

The crew occupy the forward starboard cabin (bedroom) with their own head (bathroom). The cabin is accessed from the deck.

Before your trip, you will complete a preference sheet detailing your group's food favourites, allergies, dietary restrictions, and preferred liquors/snacks. Your private chef will then provision the yacht and create a custom menu specifically for your party.

Absolutely not! The crew handles all sailing, navigation, mooring, cooking, cleaning, and dishwashing. Your only job is to relax, explore, and enjoy your vacation. However, if you wish to learn to sail, the Captain is often happy to offer personalized instruction.

Tipping is a standard industry practice and is a reflection of your satisfaction with the crew's service. The customary rate is 15% to 20% of the base charter fee. This is usually given to the Captain in cash or a money transfer at the end of the trip.
Itinerary and Activities

Your itinerary is completely flexible and fully customizable! The Captain will meet with you daily to plan the route based on your interests, the group's mood, and the current weather conditions. If you love a place we can stay longer or we can stay on the move if you have many places you want to tick off.

Sailing time depends on where you want to go so it is entirely up to you. The beauty of the BVI is that island-hopping distances are short. Most passages are just 1 to 3 hours, allowing for a relaxing balance of sailing, exploring, and relaxing anchored in a cove by mid-afternoon.

Yes! Your private charter is the perfect setting for any celebration. We encourage you to tell us about the occasion so the crew can add special touches, such as a custom birthday cake, a beach bonfire dinner, or a champagne toast at sunset.
Costs and Logistics

On an "all-inclusive" charter, almost all operating costs such as fuel, provisions and BVI taxes are covered. The exceptions are any premium top-shelf liquor or specialty wines you request, SCUBA diving and crew gratuity, Any expenses incurred by your group ashore (shopping, restaurant meals, transport) are to be covered by you.

Yes, a valid passport is required for entry into the British Virgin Islands for all guests. We recommend your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Most guests fly into Tortola (EIS - Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport), or they fly into St. Thomas (STT) and take a quick ferry directly to Tortola. We will assist with your transfer from the airport/ferry terminal directly to Awatea if required.
